| The Scanjack double flail system has the ability to clear anti-tank mines and anti-personnel mines, to a depth of 30 cm in various terrain.The Scanjack 3500 drives forward into a suspect area with both front mounted flails rotating at the same speed. The front flail cuts vegetation and penetrates the ground to a depth of 20 cm, while the second flail penetrates down to 30 cm.
Each flail has 76 hardened chains with weighted hammer tips. Rotating with 360 rpm the flails hit the ground abount six times per second.
